Animals Week

Love animals? Then this camp is for you! We will play lots of fun drama games in which students will act out and tame their favorite animals. Students will sing songs, act out animal themed poems and stories as well as create art projects. It’s a jungle in there!

Improve with Improv!

Improvisation is a great way to help develop characters and scene work. Learn to make it up as you go along while you learn how to follow your instincts using improvisation formats that encourage imagination and teamwork.

Super Scene Study

Take your love of acting to the next level! Learn how to embody a character’s body, voice and imagination and play off other actors while working on scenes from famous plays. A professional acting teacher will help guide you towards the most effective choices on stage.

Dragons, Monsters and Creepy Creatures Week

We will incorporate our theme of dragons, monsters and creepy creatures into many of our fun drama games. We will read and act out stories and poems that star our creepy creature friends as well as create art projects, improvise scenes, sing songs and much more!

Hannah Montana

If you love dancing and singing along with Hannah Montana, then this workshop is for you! This high-energy class gives students the opportunity to learn the dances and sing along to Hannah Montana’s songs including “The Hoedown Throwdown” and the “Ice Cream Freeze”. We will also act out scenes from the fab TV show. This rock star workshop is not to be missed!

Wicked Week

Catch the sensation! Wicked swept Chicago and the rest of the nation. If you are part of the craze and can’t get enough of this smash hit success, we will help satiate your appetite. We will learn more about the origins of how this musical moved from page to stage, the performers, technical aspects of the production (how did they get Elphaba to fly, anyway?) and more. Participants will also work on songs and scenes from the show.

Perform in a Play

In this high-spirited camp, campers will star in an original show. Students will act, sing and dance their way through musical numbers from Broadway shows.

Fairy Tales

In addition to fun theatre games that foster creativity, self-expression and teamwork, students will explore their favorite fairy tales through dramatic play. We will act out stories, improvise news interviews with fairy tale characters, create set pieces, engage in music, movement and puppet activities and much more! A showcase of our favorite stories will culminate this ensemble building experience.
